The Natiiinal Hiiiirir Sneiety was founded in 11121. lt is sprinswred hy the National Assoeiaf tiiin wif See-intlary School Principals. Its purpose is ni foster Scholarship. Leadership. Service and Character ainmig high school students. There are ahout five thousand chapters in the United States. The Willis Chapter was founded in 19377. -clan The DfClan is composed of Willis men who receive letters during high school for work in football, haskethall. track, golf, tennis. and our new sport. hasehall. ln previous years all men who have received letters in any sport have heen considered in the DfClan. This year, Mr. Visei, the cluhis advisor, took charge and organized the boys into a cluh. Officers were chosen from those senior hoys who had received letters. Officers for this year were President, Brent Wzitsfanz Vice President. jim Newell: Secretary. jerry Shisler: and Treasurer, Lewis Smith. Susie is proudly wearing this foothall. These hoys did many things to help hoost tlie school. The eluh was one of the many to help so' lieit for the 3fMill Levy school hond issue. They paid for football pictures taken at each of our games and shown to the foothall team so that they might improve their playing hy seeing their mistakes. The cluh ran the concession stand at foothall games and were hosts to officials at footf hall and haskethall games.
