To the students it is National Honor Society Initiation. Each junior and senior is wondering if he has qualified for this honor of hecoming a memher of this national organization. He measures himself with th: ruler of standards that have heen placed before him. These are the four divisions on the ruler: Scholarship, Leadership. Service. and Character- They are all important. The student has no more time to examine himself, for the curtains are opening and Miss Whitted stands hefore the footlights. The students are announced and proudly take their places on the stage. This is a moment they will never forget. In the year 19484949 there were five junior and fourteen senior memhers elected to the National Honor Society hy vote of the faculty. The Honor Society Committee is compoxd of Mr. Graham, Chairman: Miss Whittedg and Mr. Felts.
