Boys Cross Countr -- Best in State This year the Boys Cross Country had its best season ever. The combined team of Ramsey and Kellogg runners won for the schools their first state championship. The team also had the states first 15 point region Ca perfect scorej. Although the team had great talent the victories did not come easy. After a hard summer of training they went through two months of demanding practices. With good coaching and dedication all of the work paid off. Girls Cross Countr Runs to tate Again The girls Cross Country team once again had a season to re- member. Led by co-captains Patti Eidman and Carrie Bossen- maier, the team won their four consecutive Como Park meets and took second in the Blaine In- vitational. They ran to third place in Conference and came back running their best race, winning the Region 3AA title. They qualified for State and ran to a strong 14th. The girls were coached by Kent Bo Smith.
