Only thirteen of that thirty-six have remained to the end. They are! Joe Beasley, Marjorie Debord, Mary Esther Houchins. Shirley Kelley, Sylvia Kenelpp, Mary Alice Lehman, Judith Paul, Shirley Ross, Betty Sokeland, Carmen Stapleton, Bob Stormont, Joyce Tooley. and Aliens Vaughan. As our years In grade school continued Gene Mason, Dan McXllhlney, David Bailey, Janet Rodgers, Nancy Tipton, and Jerry Green Joined our class. Then as we entered Junior high everything was different. Belle rang and everybody ran around trying to find their right room and get to class on time. This was the biggest problem for most of us. In the seventh grade we elected our first sponsor, Mr. Borders. In 1952 twenty-four green freshmen entered high school. This year we tried to master some different subjects like algebra and biology. A delightful event of this year was the day our biology class attended the Science Pair at Evansville College. We entered the sophomore year with the enrollment of twenty-three. We had a new member this year, Larry Reed. In the fall of 54 we entered school as jolly Juniors. This year Mr. Borders resigned as our sponsor and Mr3. Manford Morrow took his place. We elected the following officers; President, Mary Alice Lehman; Vice President, (hrmen Stapleton; Secretary, Shirley Kelley; and Treasurer, Janet Rodgers. At the beginning of our Junior year we ordered our class jackets and sweaters. We presented our first class play, We Shook The Tamlly Tree, March 11, 1955 Then the last semes- ter we had the concession stand at the basketball games. On April 29 we enjoyed the Junior-senior class trip to Mammoth Cave In Kentucky. When we finally reached our last year of school we real- ised that our good old days In high school were about over. Our enrollment was twenty-one. This year Mrs. Raymond Meadows was our class sponsor. We also gained one new member, Gall White. We elected these officers; President, Carmen Staple- ton; Vice President, Judith Paul; Secretary, Aliens Vaughan; and Treasurer, Mary Alice Lehman. On October 21 we presented our class play, Which Shall He Marry? On October 15 we went to I. O. to see a football game. As seniors we received our class rings and made plans for our commencement. As the class of 56 leaves Eranclsco High School we vlBh to thank our teachers and everyone else who made possible our education here. -3m. iW m miijbmi ii' tmimimm mmmM  r s Class Will We, the Senior Class of 1956 realize our days at Francisco High School are coning to an end.
