We scor- ed an average ol live runs per game and allowed lhe opposilion only lwo runs, largely unearned. The leam's balling was led primarily by lour sophomores who bailed aboul .450 for lhe season, and lhe freshmen held up lhe pilching end successfully. The leam record is lhree wins and four losses. Credil musl be given lo Barney's coaching which proved invaluable during lhe lense momenls of lhe games. TENNIS This spring, 'lhe lennis leam looks forward lo an even more successful season lhan Iasl' year's, when we finished second in lhe league lournamenl. We have a new coach, Mr. Parkhill, who gives promise of being lhe besl lennis coach lhe school has ever had. The leam, wilh lhe excep- lion of one member, is inlacl from lasl year, and is play- ing well in praclice.
