The Spar- tan runners, who race a distance of more than 2.5 miles during competition, finished the 1961 season with a 13-0-1 record. Mr. Beall, the team's coach, has great expec- tations for his squad in '62. Led by Captain Guy Diaz, the entire starting team will return as seniors and juniors for the cross country wars next season. COACH David Beall
