In order to be in this organization, a girl must have had considerable experience in baton twirling. PEP BAND By playing modern jazz, the Pep Band stimulates school spirit at basketball games and at pep assemblies. Its members concentrate on improvising and using modern harmony. To qualify for membership one must be an older member of the regular band, be an above average musician, and have an interest in popular music.
