. Love 15 Forever Picture this! The Date: February, Friday the 13th, The Setting: Reitz High School gym. The Event: Basketball Homecoming. The Challenge: Reitz vs. Terre Haute South. The Outcome: Reitz losses in overtime. Superstitions truly predicted the outcome of the game; however, the Homecoming Dance proved to be a different story. Everybody enjoyed themselves as they danced to the sounds of DJ. Randy Webber. As they swayed to the theme Love 15 Forever, Amy Helfrich and Matt Osborne enjoyed their reign as homecoming queen and king. Stephanie Strieter and Dirk English were proudly crowned prince and princess. Making up the rest of the homecoming court were seniors: Greg Ashby, Andy Washo, John McGregor, Doug Waterman, Kristen Toone, Marlene Vonderahe, Kristi Daugherty, Tricia Moit. Juniors were: Tommy Anderson, John Haller, Barb Barchet, Sloan Carter. Sophomores: Brent Marksberry, Tracey Trautvetter, Susan McGregor. FFA Not All Work This year, FFA has participated in many events. On June 16-19 they went to the state convention. Summer camp was July 14-16. At the 4-H county fair this year the FFA sponsored a young McDonald's farm and a pedal tractor pull for little kids. In November they headed for Kansas City, Missouri, for the FFA National Convention. December brough about new officers attending winter camp. Even though it may seem like it, the Reitz FFA is not all work and no play. Every month they have a recreation activitiy. They invite other FFA groups from around the area to attend. Everyone in the FFA worked very hard this year to achieve their success. All the work yielded many fine memories. Mr. Higgs stands among FFA officers. FFA 73
