64 Highest Marching Band this year is both the largest and most successful in Reitz's history. Marching 140 members, the band competed in six contests bringing home numerous trophies. Included in these winnings were the class 4-A Championship at Castle and Division I ratings at both the District and Regional competition. Officers for 1986 include senior Band Captain Pete Ruthenburg, First Lieutenant seniors Joann Uloth and Galen Deig, and junior Drum Majors Patti Kelly and Kevin Band displays their winning formation. Score Ever Sherlock. i Other senior members are Am : Dockery, Scott Hermann, Keith y 1 Hoffmeyer, Kendra Hotz, Kenny l Kebortz, Angie Lawrence, Donna ! Mayes, Lynn McDowell, Randy Seidehamel, Stephanie Strieter Scott Ulrich, Leslie Vetters, and Shainnon Wambach. Reitz recored its highest score ever at Regional competition on October 18. Featured in the show was Chicago III suite, Free Casals suite , and My Heart, Belongs to Me . Below, the 1986 Marching Band and Flag Corps.

Best In The City The strength of the Instrumental Music program lies in its variety and diversity. While the Marching Band and Pep Band provide entertainment at athletic events, the Stage Band, String Ensemble, and Jazz Ensemble Stage Band: Adam Hape, Kelly Slinkman, Tim Barnett, David Bain, Tony Skinner; Row two: Tommy Wright, John Griffith, Shawn Jones, Jill Lucas, Tom Carlisle, James Gurganes; Row three: Jim Loeffler, Mike Lineback, Keith Fehn, Jason Hillenbrand, Kurt Raleigh. String Ensemble: Angela Goebel, Marlene Vonderahe, Kristen Quakkelaar, Blake Forester; Row two: Kym McIntosh, Lisa Joest; Row three: Tara Appel, Shana South, Julia Seckinger, Tom Carlisle; Row Four: Lori Mayes, Lisa Daniels, Sheila Jaisinghania, Sarah Gardner. Band 66 furnish music for dinners, dances and other functions within the communi- ty.
