Back To School It's 7:30 and the tone sounds signaling the beginning of a new day at Reitz. But, this isn't just any Other dayr it's the firSt day Of A mad rush to class started the new year. school. The halls are lined with people catching up on the summer's events with their friends, looking at each other's schedules, seeing which lunch periods their friends have, or trying to figure out where their classrooms are. At a glance anyone can tell who the rookies and the veterans are. The rookies are usually walking around with a confused look on their faces, and at the same time trying to look as if they know what they are doing. Rookies always make sure they are on time for each and every class. The veterans prefer to casually stroll into class right as the bell is ringing. The first day of school means different things to everyone. For some it means the joy of seeing old friends again. Others may see it as the loss of free time and the beginning of getting up early and of adding homework. No matter how people feel about the first day, it is something we look forward to.
