tor Sonia Waters slaves over the computer Ch . E:;hoard trying to finish the index. anges In I This years' Reflections staff got off to an early start this year. The staff was chosen the first day of class and the yearbook was underway. This year, the Reflections staff was unique from any other staff. Page editors were a first for the Reflections staff this year. Certain people were in charge of the different sections in the yearbook whether it was academics, sports, organizations, or the album. The funding for this years' year- book came through advertisements and a budget given to the staff by the school. The big difference in this years' staff is that they were able to meet every deadline given to them, thus resulting in an award winning book. The yearbook one of the factors that keeps the pride alive at Reitz. by Stephanie Knapp I Many yearbook staff members attended workshops this year to help improve the yearbook. i'No, No, No! Wrong word! exclaims Greg Given as Kristi yMcCullough and Amy Burkdoll look on. Mirror Goals Editor-in-Chief Rick Davis puts the finishing touches on one of his stories. Achieved New and improved. Those are the two adjectives this years' newspaper, the Mirror, set out to accomplish at the beginning of the year. The year started offearly for the Mirror staff. Their first edition came out on the third day of school, and is believed to be the earliest Reitz newspaper publication that has ever been published for a first edition. The paper also opted for a new size this year. Changing the paper from an 11 by 14 size, the paper reduced itself to an 8V2 by 11 paper. The nameplate also encountered a change. The new staff was also credited by producing the largest newspaper ever . . . 12 pages! The changes first started three weeks before school started. The editors, along with Mr. Aurand, began assigning, typing, and editing stories. The best part of this year's successes is that next year, Reitz will have a better newspaper, as it strives to make itself the best and help to shoot Reitz back to the top. by Rick Davis Robby Grubbs serves as typesetter for this The Mirror staff: years' Mirror staff.
