Meeting in St. Louis were Jeanette Winiger, Missy Love, Second row: Brian DeVillez, Becky Grisham, Mari Combs, Lisa Petitjean. President Future Farmers of America has a very active chapter at school. For ex- ample, when most people were enjoy- ing a three day holiday when the first snow day happened on Valentine Day, FFA was at work. They were holding a retreat for officers. Advisor Mr. Meyerholtz, said, We try to have one big activity each month. He helps the club meet the goal of learning more about the agri- business locally and nationally. Two of the big activities to do that were the trip to St. Louis for the FFA national convention and the work with SI- GECO. SIGECO tried to tell the pub- lic of the amount of energy used in farming and the FFA helped to do so. The English Department prides itself in its' thorough teaching of English skills. This English class - appears to be involved in a duty - heavy-duty composition wirting. Hard at work learning the tricks of the trade are the productive students of the Business Department. Preparing for the future they learn the functions of a variety of general offices machines. Seniors Jodi Carnahan and Karen Brown enjoy one of many meals prepared for their foods Class. The Home Economics Department also offer Classes such as Child Development, Exploring Childhood and Clothing and Textiles. Engrossed in their electricity project Robert Rogers and Darrin enjoy one of the many different opportunities offered by the Electricity Department. $1 ? 2 t 58
