Taking Care Of Business . . . With the help of Mrs. Toone, this year's OEA iOffice Education Associ- ationi chapter of Reitz High School has been very successful. The chapter has done such things as sponsor a Halloween Dance, participate in the Woods; Reporter, Delinda Sebree; Historian, Kim Belcher; Parliamentar- ian, Theresa Singer. The officers for the Clerical Lab are: President, Kerri Logsdon, Vice-President, Staci Fulton; Secretary, Pam Guinn; Treasurer, An- Pall Festival by selling kuchens and-gela Brunson; Reporter, Jodi Carna- making buttons, had a bus trip to St. Louis at Christmas, had a pizza party and participated in district, state, and national contests. There were three different labs, each with its own set of officers. In Secretarial Lab, the officers were: President, Karen Winiger; Vice- President, Kelly Pace; Secretary, Bob- bie Mitchell; Treasurer, Jennifer Theresa Singer, Karen Winiger, Deanna Reed, Amy Hammond, all had fun working at OEA's Fall Festival Booth. han; Historian, Cherie Kappert; and Parliamentarian, Tracy Shaw. The of- ficers for the General Office Lab are: President, Shannon McCulley; Vice- President, Jenny Long,- Secretary, Kristen Forbes; Treasurer, Angela Sloan; Reporter, Deanna Reed; Histo- rian, Lesley Gordon,- and Parliamen- tarian, Jonelle Kohlmeyer. TRUE CONTRIBUTIONS Balloon Day was an event to help raise money for the Statue of Liberty. Student Council organized this day to honor Ms. Liberty. STUDENT COUNCIL HELPS COMMUNITY Under the leadership of President Bar- bara Bain, student council has been in- volved in numerous projects this year. On October 28, 1985, 800 balloons were launched from the bowl to represent Ms. Liberty on a city-wide fundraiser. The Thanksgiving can drive and the Toys for Tots projects were also planned by the council along with dances such as Foot- ball and Basketball Homecomings, Turnabout, and a singles dance. Other Student Council officers include Staci Fulton, Vice President, Rod Townsend, Secretary, and Steve Lythgoe, Treasurer. Through the efforts of students, many families had a much more joyous holiday season. This year's Student Council was sponsored by Mr. Freece and co-spon- sored by Mrs. Moore.
