They sing and dance for conventions, contests, ban- quets, and major concerts. With a variety of classical and popular music. Every year the choir puts on a performance called Showcase . It features choreographed numbers as well as highlighting soloists. Twenty-four students are Chosen from con- cert choir to make up a group called Sounds On the Hill. Sounds put on an annual Christmas concert, held this year at the Germania Mana- chor. The choreographed musical featured many songs from different countries. Concert Choir has accomplished much this year. Reitz students make up a third of the All- City choir, and out of sixteen All-State mem- bers chosen from Southern Indiana five of them were from Reitz. The year was highlighted by the choir's cruise to Bermuda. The eight day trip which began on the last day of school, was the first in five years. The trip was a lot of hard work as well as fun for the members. Concerts were performed on the ship and on Bermuda Island. The Choir was under the direction of Mr. James Haygood. 45
