Soccer starts, x-country coed Reitz sports fans were enter- tained this fall by two additions to the athletic program. The first a soccer league, which included all seven city high schools along with Evansville Day School, was formed by a loan from the Coca-Cola Bottl- ing Company. The Panthers, despite winning only two matches, learned the funda- mentals of the game and hope to improve next fall losing only five seniors. The other new addition re- sulted as a coed cross country team containing three Panther felines. Page Forty-nine
