Heart Of The School The people here are the leaders of our school. They enable us to smoothly and resourcefully get through the school days, months, and years. There must be a leader in any situation, but especially in a school where the learn- ing processes and skills are being developed in every individual. These students have developed leadership qualities which are being used for the ben- efit of all. It is a hard, often unrewarding job; but these leaders have helped us get the most out of every school day and activity. The Juniors are happy over die business of their Junior Stand during the year. The Class Officers are from left to right: Greg Stone, Vice Presi- dent; Bonnie Walters, President; Bonnie Busch, Secretary; Debbie Wue- thrich, Reporter; Sharon Tanner, Treasurer. The Sophomore Class officers are deciding what to do with the money they earned from their coat check. Being In Class Is Necessary Where does every student go each morning before he goes to class? He goes to his locker, of course. Many times, when al- most tardy, he gets in a great hurry. He runs to his locker, opens the door, and everything comes falling to the floor. Finally, after looking through the big piles of gum wrappers, papers, and books with disgust, he finds what he needs. He sneaks What else can happen! down the hall to class, making sure Mr. Canary doesn't catch him, or else--! Many have the problem of getting to school on time, and run into these kinds of predic- aments. The only way to solve such prob- lems is to get up earlier and get an earlier start for school. By doing this, they should be able to get to class on time without having so many problems. My studies are my goal! 5
