METRO WEST JAM WDJM's MetroWest '85 contest was a welcome and refreshing addition to the countless activities at FSC. This first ever local band contest was the culmination of months of work by a dedicated and loyal WDJM staff. From a field of twenty-five bands, six were selected to compete in the contest. The six bands were Spectacles, Flamboy- antz, Scared of Horses, Human Radio, Exact, and Innocence. The winner was Scared of Horses. The special guests of the evening, Ball and Pivot, proved themselves to be a Boston band that will definitely be on the top. Down, their encore and perhaps most popular song yet, was received with great enthusiasm. WDJM is to be commended for the great show. -any 5 ff . r , - X - sf , . 28 i
