Ecumenical Center for meeting spiri- tual needs and holding forth a refuge for medi- tation . additional bricks and mortar in new construction reaching upward to serve needs of students yet to come you saw changing pat- terns in student life style recognizing as a reality the need to accept new responsibility in earning new freedoms . you saw a major change in the structure of your academic pro- gram .. welcoming new academic opportu- nities coming to you at mid-point in your college years adiusting to programmatic inconven- iences in striving to reap the rich academic benefits proffered. you saw the times of world trials and tensions which touched people every- where. even on our Hill drawing upon inner strength and value systems . upon capacities to 'live to the truth in surmounting problems which could be insurmountable .
