' We are aware of the importance of physi- cal health and the need to preserve and improve it. We are aware of the worth of our friendly associations with faculty and fellow-students. We are aware of the value of knowledge and the oppor- tunity to acquire it. We are aware of those moral truths which should quide the lives of us all. We are aware of the need for spiritual growth in this time of world conflict. This yearbook is our record of the people and activities that have formed our ex- periences at Framingham. During your four years at Framingham you have seen great ex- pansion in the college physical plant, maior developments in the academic program, and a new peak in enrollment. These are signposts of progress which represent change to meet the needs of changing times. Yet throughout all this you have helped to preserve the quali- ties which are so much a part of Framingham - the warm friendliness, the regard for high standards, the respect for intellectual curiosity, the concern for developing the better person.
