or the Closs of 1988, the post four yeors ot Frominghom North hove meont different things to mony people, but one thing thot we oll ogree on is our ochievements os o closs. Together we hove done everything we could possibly do. More importontly, we hove done things ot North os well os, if not better thon, they hove ever been done before. Acodemicolly, our closs hos olwoys tried to set the stondords for others to follow. Our schedules were tougher, our devotion to study wos more sincere, ond os o result our stondordized test scores were higher. When the Notionol Merit Semi-finolists of 1988 were on- nounced, North hod one of the best rotings of oll the stote's schools. Our involvement in student orgonizotions hos outshone thot of oll others before. As o closs we become involved in oll the clubs thot the school hod to of- fer. And when there weren't enough, we creoted our own clubs. Whether it wos the Key Club's Wollsothon for concer reseorch, the Student Council's onnuol Holidoy Drive, or the Per- forming Arts Club's speciol free performonces for o locol nursing home, there wos olwoys o member of our closs leoding the orgonizotion. Additionolly, in our four yeors of porticipotion in the Competitive Ploys, our closs come owoy with one third- ploce, one second-ploce, ond two first-ploce victories, once ogoin, one of the best records in 2 our schooI's history. Our Steering Committee wos led by the most dedicoted of of- ficers. They cored obut our unity os o closs, ond they mode sure thot the Closs of '88 held the most memoroble donces ond closs trips. When it come down to business, we once ogoin proved ourselves to be unbeotoble. Our condy ond joclset soles were olwoys successful, ond our mogozine sole surpossed oll similor drives in the post. Athleticolly, we dominoted every sport the school hod to offer. Whether we were winning the Ieogue soccer title ond the stote volleyboll chompionship in our junior yeor or quolifying for the boys' stote tennis chom- pionship in oll four yeors, we were recognized os fierce competitors by rivols throughout the Boy Store Leogue. And when it come time for us to let off some steom, well . . we proved to be the best ot thot, too! Our scovenger hunts showed our creotivity ond originolity, our ski trips showed our commitment to hoving fun, ond our porties showed our unity ond friendship. As o closs . . . os friends, we hove grown ond we hove motured, so for the Closs of 1988, these post four yeors hove been. . .
