IN MEMCDRIAM Frominghom North High School suffered o greot loss on September 16, 1987, when Dovid Beord, o populor sociol studies teocher, possed owoy. Mr. Beord hod tought ot Frominghom North from 1964 until foiling heolth forced him to retire lost yeor. Mr. Beord wos on excellent teocher who genuinely loved teoching. He loved the kids with whom he wos working ond went out of his woy to help them. lt wos not unusuol to see students crowded oround his desk ofter school. One of the most outstonding chorocteristics of Dovid Beord wos his sense of humor. Becouse he could find humor in ony situotion, he wos fun to be oround. Whether in closs, ployfully teosing o student, or ofter school, loughing ond tolking with stoff ond students olike, Mr. Beord olwoys hod o smile on his foce ond o twinkle in his eye. As seniors, mony of us were lucky enough to hove hod Mr. Beord os o teocher. Some moy recoll his skiing stories or his work with the heoring impoired. All of us who knew him os o friend know how coring ond thoughtful he wos. Dovid Beord, teocher ond friend, will be missed ond remembered by everyone.
