As members of the Class of 1961, we have just com- pleted four very important years. Since we are the first class to have entered this Framingham High School as freshmen, we are justly proud to have completed our high school courses here. During these four years, the high school has undergone a number of changes. As freshmen, we were introduced to rotating schedule; as seniors, we became involved in the overlap program. The latter meant inconveniences as far as scheduling extracurricular activities, for meetings had to be held at the close of the early sessions, and, at times, this eliminated freshmen from the gatherings. However, we made the most of a bad situation and tried to carry on in a creditable manner. Two new administrators, a larger guidance department, and many new faculty members helped us to appreciate the fact that the high school had grown, and with its development came greater responsibilities. In reflection, we find that time has gone by and today we are on the threshold of a new phase of living. Next year will find most of us either working or attending schools for self-improvement. Whatever we may be plan- ning, we will always use our high school training and experiences as the bases of future success. As the school has contributed much to our development, so members of the class have done much for the school by winning awards .in academic areas, as well as in athletic endeavors. These many honors will be left behind and will serve to inspire those who follow in our footsteps. Since we have been encouraged to set high standards, let us continue to pace ourselves in accordance with our many God-given talents.
