In doing so we discovered two fine old gentlemen who have given their attention and support to Fox. Lish Cross and Tom Blevins, for your undying spirit, your support and your friendly ways, we dedicate this annual to you. Lish Cross has lived in this community 73 years. Now at 75 he is still very active and attends nearly all activities at Fox. lle and his wife, Rosa, have raised a boy and a girl and have seen them attain their education here at Fox. His daughter, Marie Lelleau, is now teaching the second grade here. Not only has he helped his children get an ed- ucation but he has stood behind his three grandchildren and helped them graduate. Equally active at 73 is Tom Blevins. lle moved to this community in 1917 and he and his wife, Lizzie, have raised six sons and one daughter. The boys attended school at Fox and were members of the football team. Four of these sons still live in this commu- nity and all take part in most school activities. The grandchildren of Tom and Lizzie have been top honor students. Many maintained straight A's throughout high school. Tom Blevins was always behind them giving them support whenever they needed it. Most of the students here know and love these two YOUNG foxes. From them comes the spirit which in the past and the future will always be Fox's greatest asset.

Carl Buck was Superintend- ent. Members of the Board of Education were Otha McGlasson, H. B. Ward, jess Phipps, Wylie Dixon, and -I. D. Garrett. This building houses equipment and two separate football dressing rooms. It was erected in 1953.
