Erleen Ashurst v .ivphonwfma The Sophomore class finished the first year in highschool with flying colors. One of the first events in which Sophomores participated was the F.F.A. queen race. Their candidate, Shirley Varbel Brandt, won. In F.H.A., Sophomores held four of the eight offices. Other class activities included an assembly program of short skits in which every member took part. Sophomores also sold chances on a blanket to raise class funds. K A member of the class not pictured is Louie the Lip , John Badley's famed pig. Louie requires lots of attention and has even caused John to be late for school. The Sophomores have Lawton Corey and Marshall Ellis as sponsors. john Badley Hamp Baker Betty Blevins ,. ff fafuy .... .sf ffm! A-F 'QV 33 f A i L' . if 'mia 2. 'tv is 1 ,ni ,-.e.r.-qv Y o -:Ei 1. .
