S EDITOR'S NCTE Finally here is your 1961 Ha-Ko! We of the staff have written, photographed, made layouts, done art work and sent in shipments for the past nine months, until now the book is ready to turn over to you. Our theme this year as you may have guessed from the tri-color cover and full color endsheets - is COLOR. The color of our daily school life, and of our activities. The Ha-Ko staff would like to express its appreciation to all those who co-oper- ated with and advised us on putting out this annual. DEDICATIO In appreciation of what she has done for the betterment of Fox High School, we respectfully dedicate our 1961 Ha-Ko to Mrs. Veta Takach, friend, advisor, and teacher. We of the yearbook staff are especially grateful to her for helping us to proofread and improve literature for the annual during the past two years. In this period she has found time to sponsor the Fox Fax, two senior classes, plus teaching a full schedule of English and one journalism class. Students of her classes almost invariably find them enjoyable. Under her skillful guidance students are led to understand and enjoy literature. Members of her journalism class learn in an informal atmosphere the basic elements of putting together a newspaper, whether it is a metropolitan daily or a high school monthly. Therefore, with respect and admiration the I-la-Ko staffdedicates the 1961 I-Ia-Ko to Mrs. Veta Takach.
