His coaching biliiy was demonsiraied by his overall winning record, highlighied lay Two 'trips 'fo ihe Civic Arena in I966 and I967 for The W.P.l.A.l.. Easkeiball championships. He deserves ihe congraiulaiions of ,veryone for providing us wiih many ihrills over 'rhe years. The I969 baskeiball 'ream found iiself in one of The ioughesi Nseciions of W.P.I.A.L. Greaiesi compeiifors were Penn Hills and SCOH' who Tied 'for 'rhe lead, wiih Penn Hills winning in a playoff. lihe Foxes' only wins came againsr Shaler, Plum and Franklin Area, pu+ ihey played well in several oiher games, including The losses lo Braddock and Wilkinsburg ai home.
