' The 1967 Cross Country team went into th. l season expecting great things. They came ou l with the best dual meet record in the school? i record books, six wins and five losses. Tri captain Matt Marshall had a record of nine winf and two losses and was able to finish 19th ir the State Finals. When the other two tri-cap tains, Dave Cook and Gary Stang, were slower considerably by injuries, the slack was taker up by Juniors Dane Sutton, Rege Cabanor, Mike Ratway, and Pete Procopio. They came through in grand fashion, shutting out Shaler for the first clean sweep in the school's history. This victory, coupled with wins over North Hills. Churchill, and Westinghouse Memorial, gave the team a record in the West Penn Conference. With only three varsity runners leaving, the team has an excellent chance to better their record in 1968. This year Fox Chapel had the best J.V. Football team in the school's history. Coach Domyslawski and DeRiggi and Captains Bob McCormick and Dave McKamish guided the team to a 6-0-2 record. The highlight of the year was the Penn Hills game. The score was tied with 1:25 to go. The Foxes scored two touch- downs in the last minute of play to win 2-1-12. . . Football nd' Cross Countri J.V.
