'6The Foxes were never out of a ball game. They always played until the final whistle, so com- mented Coach Casile on the 1967 varsity football team. The team certainly proved this by playing some of the regionls best teams and coming out of the season with a record of 3 wins, 5 losses, and 1 tie. The Foxes defeated their biggest rivals: Spring- dale, Shaler, and North Hills. They had great determination and demonstrated this by gaining more yardage and scoring more points than any previous Fox Chapel team. Among the players who should receive special recognition are Keith Brem, Bob Strange, and Bob Milan, who were chosen for the West Penn Con- ference team.
