The Little Mermaids Dive In F01 The Girls, Synchronized Swim Team, under the new direction of Miss Gregory, presented the 5th Annual Synchronized Watei' Showg uThe Little Mermaid. The girls, captained by Jill Dorn, exhibited skill and grace in each performance. All of the choreography for each of the fourteen numbers on the show, was written and directed hy the girls on the team. The yearly addition of a boys' swimming squad always adds a humorous and sometimes unexpected twist to the show. The featured performers in this yearis show were: The Little Mermaid--,lill Dorn, The Prince-Bill Schaf- fer, The Prince-ssfsl3onnie Grindle, and Peggy Dineen as the Sea Witch.

The 1968 Varsity Baseball Team had a lot of rebuilding to do after the loss of nine lettermen from last yearis section cham- pions. However the juniors this year have been able to bolster the team considerably. As a result, their record so far this season has been much better than expected. The several losses during the exhibition season can be attributed to inexperience, but when the section games began the team started to jelll At this point in the year the team has a 4-3 record with four league games remaining. The highlight of the season was a no hit-no run pitching performance by Al Strange on May 7. This 3-0 victory over Oakmont is the only no-hitter in the schoolis history. Captains Bob Milan and Pat McTighe were Chosen as the Most Valuable Players by the team.
