COMMAND MASTER CHIEF COMMAND MASTER CHIEF EMCM(SN) DOUGLAS J. HEALEY UNITED STATES NAVY Master Chief Petty Officer Healey was born in October 1954 in Boston. Massachusetts. The son of a Master Chief Storekeeper, he graduated from Kearny High School in San Diego in 1972. He joined the Navy in December 1973. His 18 years of Naval Service includes Navy Nuclear Power Training; USS LONG BEACH (CGN-9) from 1975 to 1978 and again from 1984 to 1988, the commissioning crew of USS ARKANSAS (CGN-41) from 1978 to 1981. Recruiter in Charge Navy Recruiting Station Orange. California and duty as the electrical member of the COMAVSURFPAC COMNAVAIRPAC Nuclear Propulsion Mobile Training Team from 1988 to 1991. where he was advanced to Master Chief petty officer. During this tour, he volunteered for and was accepted to the Command Master Chief Program. He then attended the Navy ' s Senior Enlisted Academy, graduating with honors, and joined USS FOX in February, 1 992. Master Chief Healey ' s awards include the Navy Achievement Medal with Gold Star, Four Good Conduct Medals, Two Na- tional Defense Medals, and various campaign medals and service ribbons. Master Chief Healey ' s wife. Cathy, is from San Diego, where they reside. They have two children: Jason, age 15. and Jeremy, age 13.

COMBAT SYSTEMS COMBAT SYSTEMS OFFICER LCDR THOMAS DRZEWIECKI UNITED STATES NAVY BIOGRAPHY THOMAS EDWARD DRZEWIECKI LIEUTENANT COMMANDER, UNITED STATES NAVY Lieutenant Commander Thomas E. Drzewiecki was born in Newari , New Jersey on 21 February 1958. He graduated from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa. in 1980, earning a Bachelor ' s Degree in International Relations. He received his commission in 1981 through the Officer Can- didate School in Newport, Rhode Island. Prior to reporting to USS FOX (CG-33) as Combat Systems Officer in 1990, he served in USS HOEL (DDG-13) and USS BRONSTEIN (FF- 1037) as Weapons Officer. USS CHANDLER (DDG-996) as Damage Control Assistant, FLEET COMBAT TRAINING CENTER PACIFIC as a NTDS instructor. USS ANCHORAGE (LSD-36) as Navigation Officer, and USS HORNE (CG-30) as Gunnery Assistant. He was awarded the Navy Commendation Medal. Navy Achievement Medal, and the Humanitarian Medal. He also wears various other medals and commendations received for service in supporting national interests.
