The candidates called out for the sport ranged from excellent players on down. The squad cut itself till Coach had about twenty fairly decent players. lle coached them tlioroughly for a mnnlmer of days lxefore any games were played. :Xt Boswell we lost our first game, U to 4, with our team working hard. Oxford lost a hard-fought game to the li. ll. S. gang with the one-sided score of 22-5. The dark rainy day looked darker to liarl Park when we heat them there with a shut-out game.
