PRAIRIE GOLD LOVE PIRATES GF HAWAII Au operetta. The I.ove Pirates of Hawaii, was given hy the high school lmoys' and girls' glee elnlws on 'I'hursday evening. December IS, I927. It was a. story of a private school for girls in llawaii. Dorothy Dear had heen sent there hy her father to keep her from her lover, Billy XYood. Miss I'rimer, the mistress ol the school, allowed no boys on the school, grounds. Ilorothy secretly received a letter from Billy, one day. stating that the U. S. fruiser had dropped anchor at llonolulu, and that he was coming to see her, disguised as a college professor, hut instead he eame as a pirate. In the meantime a hand of pirates had entered the island and appeared at the sehool lbelore IIilIy's arrival. Miss Primer, thinking them to he Billy and his friends. captured them and put them to work. XYhen Billy arrived he was captured by the real pirates and imprisoned. Dorothy soon freed him and Iiilly immediately went after the U. S. Marines, who captured the real pirates. Dorothy and Billy returned to their home and Miss Primer' who had lmeen so particular, fell in love with the pirate chief. Cast: Dorothy Dear ..,,.,..
