PRAIRIE GOLD IHGH SCHOCL ORCHHHRA Fowler lligh School did not have an orchestra live years ago, but today we have one of the best in this part ot the state. The orchestra was started in l923 by Miss tilenora Morris, non' Mrs. V. ll. Hunter. Mrs. l-lunter secured Mr. C. O. Tlionipson of Lafayette to teach the wind instruments and in a very short time the group rehearsed together and the orchestra was formed. lin October, l927, l.ela Pratt, Yivian Pape, Jeanette Comlcy and Doris tiunnels were able to take part in the All-State Orchestra at Indianapolis. due to the ability of the students and the capability of Mrs. Hunter.
