Foreword Looking tar work -NV-t'f wyycornpetitKin. Gathered within these pages are treasured memories of classmates, teachers, and all that has been a part of our school life at Fountain Lake High School. The publication of this annual has been a challenge to us. It has required the cooperation of our sponsor, staff, students, and those who have so generously contributed their support through advertisements. Our thanks go to everyone who has helped us. We hope this publication will be one of your most cherished possessions. Thank You Coach The COBRA we dedicate to you. With all our thanks and praise. To show you our appreciation Of our memorable school days. Many times you have helped us, When our grades were getting low. You have coached our teams successfully, Our gratitude we want you to know. We dedicate our 1969 COBRA to Coach Johnny LaFevers 4 Fountain Lake Superintendent GLENN FORD I believe everyone should have an objective or goal in life. 1 realize many of you have not established such a goal simply because you feel you are too young. But when the time comes for you to pursue your goal or career in life, remember you should: Speak truthfully and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; keep interested in your career, however humble it may be; be yourself. Discipline yourself, but at the same time be gentle with yourself; be at peace with God; Always try to smile. Be cheerful and strive to be happy and remember always those dedicated parents, school staff and faculty members who have dedicated themselves in assisting you in your journey toward that golden dream and successful life. 6 High School LYNN GASTON Fountain Lake Principals Elementary OSCAR HUSTON MRS. As we go our separate ways, not knowing if happiness or sorrow will cross our paths, we hold the thoughts of the days we spent at Fountain Lake as some of the happiest days of our lives.
