NINETEEN THIRTY-EIGHT MEMOIRS The Minstrel HE Senior Class presented its annual minstrel on Novem- ber 12, 1937. This event marked the opening of the new gymnasium to the public. Despite bad weather conditions, the class had a large turnout for its program. The part of the interlocutor was very well handled by Thomas Haney. The room resounded with laughter at the jokes and crazy antics of the four endmen: Philomena Oricko, Charles Miller, Mar- ion Muhr, and James Zimmerman. The chorus was made up of all pupils in the class who did not present individual performances.
