Reserves repeaf as league champions Equally impressive was the junior varsity as they finished 5-1 in duel and tri-meets. The Red- men started out by winning their first three meets, beating Oregon Clay, Port Clinton, and Upper Sandusky. Napoleon next gave the harriers their only loss of the year as they beat FHS, 30-29. Next the team beat Bedford and Clyde quite convincingly to finish the year at 5-1. The Redmen avenged the loss to Napoleon by defeating them for the GLL title. This now makes the third year in a row that the junior varsity has won the GLL. The team also finished first in the Findlay and Tiffin lnvitationals and second at the Shawnee Invi- tational. This year's reserves should help next year's varsity in its quest to make a third trip to Columbus. 24 Cross Country 1 - Nate Lynch pours it on at the linish line 2 - Mike Etzinger pushes hard to finish 31 st at the State Meet in Columbus 3 - Craig Baldwin passes an unidentified Clyde runner
