NOVEMBER T-B.G. topped FHS in the closest football game of the year, 13-l2l 8-Annual Larry Tetzlaff assembly. This year he brought snakes. 8-Final game dropped to Findlay, 20-O. Six senior players found this to be their last game. Better luck next year! H-Visiting night for parents, students aided as guides and gave demonstrations. 12-19-Student Council sold quick-shine shoe polish. 14--Everyone dressed in white shirts and black sweaters for the shooting of annual pictures. 19-Football banquet held at the Presbyterian Church. Coach Dick Small of Defiance College, formerly of FHS, was the guest speaker. 21-FHS choir entertained the students with an assembly. 26-Basketball team gave us a sneak preview-the Red and White game. 28-Thanksgiving assembly. 28-29-Short but needed restl Thanksgiving vacation. 29-FHS band welcomed Santa in the Christmas parade. 29-lake tripped the Redmen, 50-40. DECEMBER 3-Pruth McFarlin brought us a very entertaining vocal assembly. 5-Senior girls with homemoking instincts took the Betty Crocker Test. 5-Craftsman's Guild presented an assembly for the boys. 5-All-school play, The Family Nobody Wanted, was a huge success! 6-Victory! Redmen upset Clay, 44-40. 10-FHS downed Bellevue, 39-37. ll-Fohirab assembly plugging annuals was given, the theme was The Money Tree! ll-FHS students presented a one-act Christmas play, The Case of the Silent Caroler. 13-B.G. lost to the mighty Redmen, 52-43. I5-Vesper Service presented by the choir and orchestra. T8-The Junior class selected its officers for the year. 20-3-Christmas vacation--everyone rested for exams. 20-Oops! Rogers tripped the Redmen to the tune of 54-48! 21-Another oops! FHS was dropped by Findlay, 61-43.

Cu lon dar SEPTEMBER 3 6 13 18 20 24 27 -School doors opened again, a day earlier this year! -Preview game with Bucyrus ended as a tie. This year Janet Karcher from SWHS reigned as queen with Dayle Mavin and Brenda Flannery as attendants. -Opening game with Bellevue, 21-21, as a not-so-successful football season begins. -Chief Morgan showed us a bit of judo with the aid of some of the students. -Marion scalped the Redmen, 39-7. -Student Council held its first meeting and elected new officers. This year Al Wernick headed the club. -Fremont sacked FHS, 340, OCTOBER 7-Senior class chose its class flower and motto. 3-Dona and Otto Schmidt entertained the student body with an assembly, 4- Good Lucks were given as homeroom elections were held. 4-Rogers threw the Redmen, 20-7 7 17 -Y-Teens held its yearly Recognition Service at Lowell School. -Whitmer held the Redmen scoreless, 20-O. 74-21-FHS students participated in the first United Community Fund Drive in Fostoria. 15-31-Magazine campaign had its kick-off assembly-Lowell 78 18 21 Jr. Hi won. -Girls were given a break for the Girls' Assembly. -Sylvania won, 26-7! -29-Smile! Senior pictures were taken. 22-Pressure was applied on the seniors brains with the 23 scholarship qualifying tests. -First issue of the Red and Block Journal made its appear- ance. Danny Maurer is editor. 23128-Brenda Luckey, Judy Rice, Dixie Hyte and Ann Theobald went to New York to tour the UN for Y-Teens. 24-Clay defeated the Redmen, 18-O. 25-Free day! N.W.O.T.A. held its annual Teachers' Meeting! 30-Simon Oliver or Nutchuck gave the students an assembly about Alaska and its people.

JANUARY 21 A.. 6- 3- 1 O- Juniors sponsored a dance, Sputnik Spin in the gym. FHS defeated Tiffin, 57-43, Seniors tested their brains with the scholarship tests in Tiffin. Future Nurses ratified their constitution. Wow! Redmen clobbered Sylvania, 68-35. 11-Maumee upset Redmen, 65-46. 13-1 16 17- 24 25 30- -Camera ready? More annual pic 1 7-Exams! What a horrible word tures were shot, Redmen trounced Whitmer, 51-34. -FHS beat Clay again, 63-501 Redmen scalped B.G. for the second time, 47-43. Lee Redding, best actress, and Steve Kleinsmith, best actor. The .luniors had the winning play, Antic Spring. 31-Rogers lightly tapped the Redmen, 48-47. FFBRUARY 5-Kroger Science Assembly, Mr. Sielreres was on hand to 7- smile and accept the award. Even though they tried to stall, the Redmen reigned victorious against Sylvania, 30-21. 11-National Honor gave their annual talent assembly. 14-Be my Valentine! 14-Redmen won a victory Valentine against Whitmer, 51-42. FHS was given a big trophy lor being League Champs! 15-Last basketball game was won by the Redmen against Fremont, 70-56. 21-World Day of Prayer Assembly. 21-First tournament game with Fremont St. Joe found the Redmen on top, 61-55. 22-Too bad to be true! FHS was stopped in tournament by B.G., 66-53. That ended a terrific basketball season lor the Redmen. Two seniors, Allan Craddolph and Rod Thatcher played their last game for FHS. 22-VIC boys traveled to Marysville for the Northwest Regional Conference. 22-23-Xenia. paid us a visit, 25-Teachers turn to relax! Fun Night was held for them in the gym. 28- Follow the Girls, presented by the Junior class was o smash hit. One-act Hummel awards went to Doyle Movin, director,
