Things have happened that you'll never forget- your vigorous campaign for class ofhcers, the class play, fwhich, by the way, was the best everb, the beautiful prom you gave for the seni- ors, the many, many hours you devoted to school activities, and last of all, the day of senior assem- bly when you moved into the senior seats as Stretch accepted the gavel from Jim. Next year is a rugged one for you. There will be disap- pointments, a lot of hard work, but you'll be left with the memory of a wonderful year as a Senior, and proud that you were graduated from FHS. These were the large productions, but not to be neglected are the numerous one act plays sponsored by Omicron Lambda, which have been presented at many functions. All plays represent a lot of hard work on the part of the cast and crew. Their reward comes on the final night, when they receive the applause and curtain calls that symbolize their success. Students can be very proud of our dramatics department which is under the direction of Mr. David Thompson. 63 Row I Donme Murphy janet Dull, Norm Burrell, Carolyn Bower oy e av M jo Bell, Nell Glaser Nancy Lambert Gwen Marshall Bob Gamble Row 2 Sally Snyder Donme Sallers, ary All- chool Pla, ' 'DOWN TO EARTH' ' . .Mary jo Bell . . .Sally Snyder .Gwen Marshall .....,Ianet Dull . . .Bob Gamble Donnie Murphy Nancy Lambert oyce McCracken Karen Masel, Mr. David mpson they appeared on stage Junior Class Pla . ft F ' ,. 1 . 4, af ii I fj 5 - 78-1314 Kms: ,- QM . The directors, Mr. Middleton, Mr. Downs, and Miss Slotterbeck have always produced musical organizations worthy of recognition. Regional contests entered by the band, orchestra, and choir each spring, and winter and spring concerts always show fine results. Instrumental and vocal groups have entertained' at many func- tions throughout the year. The Double Octette was again honored by singing on WSPD-TV during the Christmas season. Journalism, dramatics, music, sports, honoraries, vocations, and service clubs offer a variety of extra-curricular activities. But there are other groups that are often forgotten when thinking of activities- traffic patrol, cafeteria staff, hall monitors, All of these clubs and groups deserve recognition, because and of course, the inevitable magazine campaign. they do many worthwhile things for the school and the people of Fostoria. Devote as much time as you can afford to these activities: they will repay you in many ways. 78 L-.. The FOHIRAB is very happy to include in its jpages the advertisements of community and area merchants. They have, during the past years, contributed quite generously to those from the journalism department who have sought their aid in making both publications, the JOURNAL and the FOHIRAB, possible. They have helped us not only through financial aid, but in supporting and encouraging us in the many projects which we strive to undertake. The FOHI RAB staff sincerely hopes that the student body will show their appreciation to these merchants by patronizing them in every way they can. 1 27 THE AHLENIUS COMPANY F t L d gDp tmentSto CONGRATULATIONS GRADUATES OF I955 Plan W life Insurance THE ONLY ALL-PURPOSE LIFE INSURANCE POLICY WHICH CAN BE CHANGED AFTER YOU OWN IT, TO MEET YOUR CHANCINC NEEDS Lee B.
