4 5CH00l CIHEIIIJIIR SEPTEMBER 5-The 1950-51 school year is off to a good start! 8-Football Preview in the stadium with Fostoria taking Calvert 14-0. 15-Shelby comes from behind to tie us 7-7. 20-Assembly introducing new teachers. 22-Exciting game but Marion edges us 7-6. 26-James Co-letta tells us of the Army Intelligence Corps. 29-Fremont does it again, 42-0. OCTOBER 6-Another tough game as we tie Ashland 13-13. 10-13-Hi-Y initiation starts out with a bang. 13-The Red and Black Journal makes its big debut. We whip Tiffin 34-6. 20-Another assembly! This time the Hallelujah Quartet. Defiance falls be- fore us 32-6. 23-This is the life! General Motors gives us a fine assembly. 24-28-Now it's the girls' turn as Hi Chi Phi Initiation begins. 26-Woodward beats us 14-7. 27-We take a much-appreciated vacation while the teachers trek to Toledo. 29-The folks take over our seats for Parents' Night. NOVEMBER 1-Magazine campaign begins-new prizes galore! 3-The rain didn't stop us from beating Bowling Green 45-6. 8--The Redmen conquer THOSE Trojans 7-0! Whatta Game! 11-Our gym turns into a roller-rink for an assembly. 15-Magazine Campaign tops the goalg only because of the tireless efforts of the Senior Class!? 17-The whole school combines its forces to put on Room Service. 22-Thanksgiving Assembly. The start of a Wonderful vacation. Mother Nature gives us a hand with some nice snow. 28-The Varsity-Alumni game with the Varsity taking the honors. DECEMBER 5-Macomber treats her hosts roughly by winning 66-58. 9-We almost take Mansfield, but they win 51-49. 14-The Annual Assembly turns out to be a most dramatic production. 15-The Little Giants outpoint us 69-57. 18-The Christmas issue of the Red and Black comes o-ut. 21-First Annual Deadline. We emerge from the midnight oil with the nec- essary ingredients. 22--Bowling Green should have stayed home as we whip them 50-41. 23-Christmas Vacation agrees with everybody. 29-We go all the way to Lorain to lose 50-48. JANUARY 3-No more loafing-School takes up once more. 4-Junior and Senior Personality Poll. 5-We entertain Marion and whip them 69-58. 9-Make way for the gossip-another Red and Black J ournal. 12-Tiffin takes us for a ride, 46-34. 18-Sophomores cop the One-Act Play Contest. 19-We end up on the short side of Findlay 84-43.

FEBRUARY 9-Marion takes us on their floor 52-49. 15-The Junior Class entertains with Clementine 16-It's our turn to torture as we edge Tiffin 54-53. 21-Y-Teens hold their annual dance, The Hatchet 22-A day's vacation for Washington's birthday. Hop. 23-Almost, but not enough as Findlay beats us again 56-45. 27 MARCH 9-Seniors bring forth The Bunny Bounce. -Oh, for a bigger auditorium as the Band Concert 11 16-Everyone lets down his hair for the Hobo Hop. 20--Assembly. 22-Another Assembly. -The opposition is up to their old tricks as Liberty Center slips by 50-49 draws a crowd. 23-The Annual Easter Assembly is enjoyed by everyone. 20-30- The Pirates of Penzance returns to the F.H.S. stage. APRIL 4-Assembly. 6-Buckeye League Band Festival in Fremont. 7-The Band goes to contest at Bascom. 8-14-Spring Vacation. -Junior High Dance. 17 19-Assembly. Booster Club's All-Sports Banquet. 21- 25-We,are treated to a movie for assembly. 30-The Junior High comes forth with their operetta. MAY 4-Hi-Y splurges for the Sweetheart Dance. Also th 11-Buckeye League Track Meet. 18-The Senior Class Play is enjoyed by all present. 25-The Seniors' last fling-The Senior Assembly. 27-Baccalaureate. e De Vilbiss Relays 28-The Juniors entertain the Seniors with the Prom. 31-Commencement.
