SCHOOL CALENDAR September 6-Open those pearly gates, we're gonna' be pinned in again - school begins that is. l4- And I promise you coke bars on every floor -guess what? Home- room elections. I6-Shelby was scalped in our first game in the stadium-20-l4. l9-Ugh Y-Teens heap big picnic in-um park. 23-Marion held us-l4-7. We kicked, but not hard enough. New faculty faces were introduced in Assembly. 30-We bowed our heads then shouted Hallelujah- cause we finally re- ceived our new Memorial Stadium. Too bad the Little Giants were bigger than expected. 28-7. October 4-National Honor Assembly. They looked lovely in those burlap sacks, so did the scurves of Hi-Y. 7-Aghes to ashes, Fostoria to dust, Ashland won, we almost cussed. l -l4. l3-Student Council Assembly. l4-The Columbians were plowed so far under when the Redmen left, they didn't see the score. 33-O. 27-lt wasn't the rain that made us slip thru Defiance's line and win. l3-O. 28-Ohio Teachers' Association. Three little words which mean -- NO SCHOOL! November 3-Nilkanth Chavre,-interesting assembly speaker from lndia. 4-Ah yes, the perpetual rain of the Bowling Green vs. Fostoria game, must be lucky for us. 26-6. 8--Bet our seats were a little tight for our parents, but they came anyway. 9-Assembly-Paul Burk-cartoonist who proved the hand is faster than the eye. ll-Findlay Game-and what an original band skit at the half! l Findlay 28, Fostoria O. l8-All-School play- The Man Who Came to Dinner . We came too, but were laughing too hard to think of eating. 24-25-We were thankful, thankful it was vacation! 30-Hair Raisers in the form of yellow grade cards, came out. December 2-Sandusky 3l-Fostoria 29. After all it was the first basketball game. 6-Macomber, There-M 6l, F 3O. As the girls will remember, it was an all boys' school. 9-Columbus West game, there. C.W. 37, F. 5l. The game that saved our lost week end. lO-Mansfield game was part of the lost, lost week end. M 57, F 36. l3-Toledo Waite-No comment. T.W. 49, F. 38. l4-The actors in the Annual Assembly turned a little pail-lgalvanizedl. l6--That pep meeting pepped us over Fremont 30 to 28. 20-We made the B. Gee'rs, look like Bin Goof's. l3.G. 32, F. 45. 23-Senior Dance-Deck the halls with boughs of holly-tra la. January 3-lt's a wonder we got thru the doors after that Xmas Food! 6-Guess we had to give that game to Marion. 33 to 5l. l3-Tiffin must have been taking vitamin pills-T. 50, F, 43. l9-Omicron Lambda's One Act Play Contest. What a U. S. Revolt. 20-One point is nothing to brag about, but it was a gain for Findlay. What a heart breaker that overtime was! 44-43. 27-And again the Redmen brought their tomahawk in sudden death over Fremont. 65-67.
