Dar- lene Schmiiltv were awaiting the verdict on NX'1iviw Larson GIRL CRAZY Fake Indians, cowboys and gunplay set the stage for the Senior Play presented November 20th. This hilarious comedy was centered around a rich play- boy who was banished out West by his father on the charge of being girl crazy. Turning an old ranch into a swank night club isn't as easy as the playboy first antici- pated. To add to the confused ranch atmosphere were killers, Mexicans, and pretty girl friends. All ends well as a state policeman arrests the killers and romance links to- gether the leads. Trophy winners Bill Baker and Pat Butler were excellently directed by Mrs. Evanson and student directors Cathy McRae and Wayne Wilson. Snowy trees surrounded the room while a sea of snowflakes and angel hair clouds hung from the ceiling. Blue and white skates with the names of the couples printed on them were given away as souvenirs. Preceeding the Grand March, Mrs. Love, Tri-Hi-Y adviser. crowned King Ron Ladines, Princes Al Kissner,john McAbee, john Perry and Gene Finney. Against a setting of blue and white snowflakes. couples' pic- tures were taken by Photography Club. A royal court were Ann Nachatelo. Gene Finney. .Judy Stensen. john Perry. King Ron Ladines. Queen Gail O'Hearn. Curtis Anderson, Barbara Hutchison. PROM April In Paris, the junior-Senior Prom, was set in a sidewalk cafe, Punch was served by pretty waitresses as the couples sat around the tables. Viewed from the cafe was a white Eiffel Tower standing in the middle of the fioor and many Paris scenes. Wine bottles, miniature Eiffel Towers. and Arches of Triumph could be seen as you gazed around the room. The crowning event ofthe evening was the Grand March and the disclosing of the king and queen. A be- jeweled crown was placed on the head of Queen Gail O'Hearn by Mr. Decker. Placing a silver crown upon upon King Ron Ladines' head was Mrs. Plummer. Springtime in abundance, the merry dancers whirled across the floor. King Ron and Queen Gail reign over the Prom hall. Z' 41

BARRY'S ETCHINGS Mr. Barry's lftchings. a humorous three-act comedy. was presented as the All-School Play, under the direction of Mrs. Ilvanson, Lorelei Berto and Darlene Schmaltz, The plot is centered around Judson Barry. an artist whose artistic ability causes him trouble when his sister stumbles across thousands of fifty-dollar bills which he eounterfeited for fun. Criminal coun- terfeiters and gt 'I'-man ily in and OLII of Mr. Barry's studio hunting for the counterfeit money and the plates. The counterteiters attempt to involve Mr, Barry in their racket but instead are turned over to the police, Romanee. etchings. and nosey townspeople are all mingled to make an exciting plot.
