And Still Autumn Seniors Seniors leading Fosters or qanizations this year were left to right first row Managing Editor Growler Betty Russell Pres GAA and Band Barbara Gouge Second row Editor Growler Mary Ann Gavin Pres Tri 1'-l1Y Marysue Bruce Pres Torch Ray Larson Third row Editor Klahowyah Wears Her Fruits And Flowers Achievements are enough to introduce the am bitious class of 1954 'I'hey were well known for their accomplishments in scholastic dramatic and sports fields through all of which they were ably led by President I1m Trestrail Vice President Walt Iensen and Secretary Betty Russell On hand to help were Mrs Plummer and Mr Decker senior advisers The football season with eleven seniors on the squad was very successful taking a third of the Five speeches the main part of the graduation ceremonies will be presented by these seniors. Brunhilde Reqel Pres Drama Club and National Thespians Trudy Carnes Pres Hi Y Iim Matthews Fourth row Pres Spade Club Bonnie Bilyeu Pres Letter men s Club Boo Pitts Not pictured Pres Operator s Club George Johanson Pres B B C B111 Aliment three way tie Basketball also had its share ot excitement during the Winter months The class was spotted with royalty in 54 Auburn haired Dorathy Underwood with her court of tour ruled over the first homecoming in the new high school Tolo King Bob Pitts was chosen from an array of five senior boys The seniors ielt honored by having Brunhilde Hegel chosen as Foster s D.A.R. representative- and Ray Larson and Marysue Bruce the recipients of the American Legion Citizenship Awards. At Baccalaureate May 30 and Commence- ment Iune 2 the senior boys will wear royal blue gowns and the girls white ones. Salutatorian Brun- hilde Begel and Valedictoricm Betty Russell will be the main speakers at graduation. Other speakers will be Marysue Bruce and Ray Larson chosen by the senior class and Iames Trestrail chosen by the faculty. May their enthusiasm and talents lead them to success in their chosen fields.
