This class was sponsored by Mr. William H. Weaver and Miss Kathleen Owen. The following year when they were Juniors they con- tinued with the same President and chose Marjory Heitman, Vice Presidentg Jaunita French, Secretary and Treasurer. The Junior Class Play, Set a Thief , was a great hit. Under the direction of Miss Kathleen Owen and Mrs. Ann Coyner, the Juniors entertained the Senior Class of 1959 and l94O at a Hawaiian Banquet in the Y.W.C.A. auditorium. During the Senior year the class was sponsored by Miss Marjorie Miller and Miss Kathleen Owen. The leaders selected were: Vonnie Hovis, President, Mary Katherine Austin, Vice Presidentg Marile Anderhub, Secretary, and Marjory Heitman, Treasurer. The group presented as their Senior Play, So Help Me Hannah! Having lost some members but having gained others dur- ing the three years of high school, they are still a loyal, cooperative group of happy, healthy students. They are the Seniors of Foster High School.
