Among Them are many veTerans oT Fosdick-lv1asTen Park, whose record in This war has been mosT admirable. They have received many Army and Navy awards and decoraTions, and have aTTained almosT every rank Trom privaTe To maior-general. The compleTe rosTer OT over 2000 Fosdick-lv1asTen servicemen is noT available aT presenT, buT The enTire lisT is cerTain To be ready Tor publicaTion when our school observes iT TiTkieTh anniversary. EducaTional opporTuniTies oTTered To reTurning veTerans are many. Under The liberal provisions oT The HG. l. Bill oT RighTs, They are enTiTled To a cerTain number oT years oT Tree educaTion aT colleges and universiTies ThroughouT The counTry. Many veTerans are Taking advanTage oT These opporTuniTies. Fosdick-lv1asTen has in iTs sTudenT body sixTeen Tormer servicemen who are picTured below. These men, aT an assembly on February 20, held a round-Table discussion on posT-war issues. Very evidenT in Their Talk was The need and desire Tor educaTion. All of Them are eager To secure Their high school diplomas: some expecT To enTer higher insTiTuTions oT learning. The veTerans' views mighT well be summed up by whaT one said: l do noT expecT special Tavors. l jusT wanT To learn like anyone eise. We veTerans are naTurally more seTTled and serious, buT we have a deTiniTe purpose in mini VV'e musT compleTe our high school educaTion now.
