f. , f ' f , ww ?f:L 9f:f.lf-:W V V v -I . , .J f0 ss1?y3if IN LOVING MEMORY On Monday of January 19 1959 Mr Bruce G Blackman died of a heart ailment at the Wilkes Barre General Hospital where he had been a patient since December 15 1958 A native of Courtdale Borough and a graduate of Edwardsville High School and Bloomsburg State Teachers College he served as Teacher principal and football coach in the Kingston Borough School District until he entered military service in May 1917 From 1919 until his death he was a member of the Fourth Estate as reporter and since acterized him as a gentleman ot the press We the Class of 1959 representing the feelings ot the present student body as well as the sentiments of alumni and alumnae mourn the loss of one who served the best in terests of Forty Fort boys and girls as a member ot the Board of School Directors in gen eral and as chairman of the instruction and athletic committees in particular To this end we dedicate this page in reverent appreciation and respectful memory of Mr Bruce G Black man 1951 as sports editor of the Times-Leader, the Evening News.
