Foreword W W Z 0' ff E the editors and staff of THE FORT present the 1952 edition of our school annual Into the creation of this publication went many hours of labor and de liberation They were, however, hours of dedication to a task which we deemed most highly We have attempted to portray our high school life against the background of historical significance as represented in a theme of the Revolutionary Period In the production of a book such as this, the services of many students and faculty members are a prerequisite The senior class, under the guidance of our advisers Miss Handlong and Mr Brong developed the enthusiasm and the determination to carry this project forward from its inception as an idea to its final phase of presenta tion to you The expression seems far too overworked and trite for such an occasion but lacking a better substitute, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to Miss Maurer, Miss Rice, Miss Stack, and Mr. Balcomb.
