“Sunshine The Sunshine year started with Miss Crouch, the sponson and the followlng officers president, Janet Martin, vice president, Alberta Denney, corresponding secretary, Helen Sharrett, recording secreta,y, Carolyn Suiter, treasurer, Georgia Fort, to make Sunshine spread its rays over the com munity once again The S S S theme for the year was HJ1ll's Neighborsu and 1t's slogan 'Service Above Self' September October November December January February March April May Sunshine Calendar High School Mixer Initiation and Mother's Tea Good Neighbor program by Sunshiners President and Sporsor's Luncheon Sunshiners Mrs Norris, speaker Christmas Dance Mrs Rothman, speaker Mrs Nlelson, speake highth grade party Sent out Valentines Sunshiners Sent out Laster Cards Llection of officers Program for Seniors Thirty Sunshiners went to Clark Townsh p to attend the annual Distruct Convention held November ll The day's pro gram was ended by a most lmpressive Ves er servi e On April 7, the Dunshiners started out early ln the morning to Feet with several hundred other SUDSHIDSTS to attend the annual State Corventlon being held at New Haven Miss hlizabeth Kresler, who had traveled in europe for sev eral summers, was the morning speaker Dr Robert Plerce, who had some extensive work with young eople and as a mln lster at the Broadway Methodlst Church in Ind1ana,ol1s, was the afternoon speaker A grand tire was had by all Once agaln the S S S girls found that tle sun was slowly sinking in the lest and that another Sunshine year was coming to a close Nevertheless, the bunshine girls will carry the rays of the sun forever ln thenr hearts Z ' A ' ' . , 1-1' .
