The farther we advanced the more important our nllttlen number felt The eighth grade class offlcers were pres ident Helen Sharrett, vice president Floyd Lewark, secretary Alberta Denney, treasurer Joann Gudgel Mrs Owens had the honor of being our class sponsor Sharron Sigler and Kenneth Graham were new students in our class As usual, the class of 'Sl entered high school as out standing green freshies Our number was unusually small for a fresh an class Alberta Denney presi ent, Robert Smith vice presi ent, Kenneth Graham secretary, and Janet M rtln treasurer were our officers for our first year of high school The glrls were joining the Sunshine Society Under the direction of our sponsor, Mr Bailey, the group was making plans for our Halloween Carnival Our show was the unforgetable HL1fe of Kllroyn Frances Vaughn was one of the few new students that year A memorable occassion was our class party It was the night of the tornado that completely destroyed one town and damaged much property Having lr Mosele for sponsor, our officers for our Robert mlth vlce preswdent, Helen Sharrett secretary, and Erline ummis treasurer nThe Silly Sophomore Circusn was our H lloween Carnival show that ye r Ralph Sears moved here from Ladoga to dd to our class The class decided on gray sweaters wlth royal blue numbers outlined in white There was much to look forward to in our Junior YL r After electing Miss Bower for sponsor, Lrlnnc Lummis pres ident, Alberta Denney vice president, Helen Sharrett sec retary, and Ralph Sears treasurer s the officers for the class of '51 The thought of the comlng play entltled, WHe Couldn't M rry Fiven, brought much excitement to the jolly juniors We closed the year w1th a vlsit to Victory Field to see the Indlanapolis Indians 0 I : ' I 0 I O V l m . 5 - A 8 . . , l O O O I 1 , ' , , second year in high school were: Janet Martin president, L .
