Genesis 1:26 All the world's a stage And all the men and women merely players . But there may be a time For we meet our graves When we will have the opportunity to change ours. By ours, I mean the parts we play Upon this celestial stage For one man in him time may play many parts, But we must not let dismay Be to our mind engaged. We are the creatures who inherit dominion O'er the earth and the fish and the cows. So when traveling life's road we chance to stumble We needn't wait for a good Samaritan For we are powerful and the world is ours. There's divinity that shapes our ends, Rough hew them how we will But if we keep God in intimacy Then we, the hardest battles, can win, And our mission will be fulfilled. Steven Alexander
