Democratic student government, begun during the 1941-42 school year under the direction ot Mr. McKelvie and President Tony lbarreta, has been continued under the leadership of President Eugene Miller with Mr. Stenback as adviser. Representatives from each advisory have served their groups etiectively in carrying on the activities ot the student body. A curtailment of activities, due to War restrictions, has made the Work of the Advisory Board more difficult. An attempt has been made to supplement the usual activities by assisting in the many War activities, including salvage campaigns, the pur- chasing ot War Bonds and Stamps, and Iunior Red Cross activities. The Advisory Board is now accepted as a necessary and essential group in the conduct of student and administrative problems of our high school.
